FA Cup previews: Steven Gerrard expected to start for Liverpool against Everton

Cardiff v Arsenal,1.30pm

Arsenal will be without suspended full-back Gael Clichy for the trip to Cardiff in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday, but defender William Gallas is fit again following a hamstring problem.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will again get a chance to impress and midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to face his former club.

Mikael Silvestre (thigh), Theo Walcott (shoulder), captain Cesc Fabregas (knee) and Tomas Rosicky (hamstring tendon) remain sidelined, while striker Eduardo continues to build up his match fitness.

Arsenal (from): Fabianski, Sagna, Toure, Djourou, Gibbs, Eboue, Denilson, Wilshere, Ramsey, Van Persie, Bendtner, Almunia, Adebayor, Bischoff, Randall, Vela, Diaby, Nasri, Gallas, Song.

Liverpool v Everton, 4pm

Rafael Benitez is likely to make changes, but Steven Gerrard is set to play. Gerrard trained today after his court appearance and is expected to lead the side at Anfield.

Benitez is likely to recall Javier Mascherano to midfield after the Argentinian was consigned to the bench for Monday's 1-1 home league draw between the sides.

Diego Cavalieri and Andrea Dossena could also be involved. Ryan Babel, Yossi Benayoun and Lucas while Daniel Agger (calf) and Alvaro Arbeloa (hamstring) will have late fitness tests.

Joseph Yobo could return to Everton's squad after missing the last four matches with a hamstring injury but may get a place on the bench for the second Merseyside derby in six days.

However, manager David Moyes is likely to stick with the same side which snatched a late 1-1 draw in the Barclays Premier League encounter at Anfield on Monday.

Marouane Fellaini serves the second match of a two-game ban.
